Check Your Bangle Size: Measure the Inner Diameter and Match with the Chart
How to Find Your Bangle Size
This chart is an excellent tool to help you find the right bangle size for your needs.
STEP 1:
Bring your fingers together, touching your thumb to your little finger, as if you were slipping on a bracelet.
STEP 2:
Take a strip of paper or tape and wrap it around your hand at its widest point. If using a plain strip of paper, mark the point where it overlaps with a pen. Then, measure the length of the paper strip with a ruler to determine the circumference of your hand.
STEP 3:
Compare the circumference of your hand to the chart below and choose a bangle with a diameter that is one size larger than your actual hand measurement.
- Bring your thumb and pinky fingers together.
- Use tape or thread to measure the widest point of your hand’s circumference.
- Then, measure the length of the tape or thread with a ruler.
- This will give you the circumference of your bangle.
- Compare the measurement with the bangle size chart.
Here are some things to consider before purchasing gold bangles or bracelets.
1.When buying bangles, it’s advisable to choose a size that is slightly larger than your wrist (around 1/2 to 3/4 inches bigger) to make wearing them easier.
2.To help slide the bangles on easily, use a silk or crepe cloth to cover your hand.
3.If you’re unsure about your bangle size while shopping online, opt for openable or adjustable bangles, as they are more flexible and easier to wear.
4.For a diamond bangle meant for daily use, ensure the diamonds are of good quality and grade, and select a setting that is both sturdy and simple.
5.When purchasing gold bangles, don’t forget to invest in a high-quality storage box to keep them safe and preserve their shape. A durable box will protect your bangles from any potential damage.
